THE QUESTION DU JOUR...

9:46 AM

I am a bit timid when it comes to bold eyeliner, and I just love seeing how each of the women mentioned above not only made the look their own but also made it iconic. I suppose the "Kirsten" definitely leans toward the sweet side, and if I'm feeling sassy, has a hint of Amy to it. HA! No, I kid I kid. Amy is the one and only lady that could pull off a ratty beehive and that crazy eyeliner. I'd say Marilyn is closest to what I do...a bit more understated, but equally pretty. Tell me below which you are...I am super curious!

PS While we are on the topic of eyeliners, any that you swear by? I feel like mine have been super smudgy lately...and not in a good way.

  1. I'm think i'm close to a "Marilyn" too. I'm a huge eyeliner fan, I think it can transform you like nothing else. Sweet to Sexy in seconds! I use Calligraphy in ebony by hourglass and I love it, never smudges.

  2. I use liquid liner every day because I wish I was a French film actress from the 60s :) I would say my style fits whatever I decide to go for that day or whatever it is happens when I do the first eye. Haha. Has a mind of it's own. I swear by the Sephora brand long-lasting liquid eyeliner. The wands make application insanely easy and i haven't had any problem with smudging, unless I forget I have make-up and rub my eyes, haha. They also have great colors. I have black, grey and navy.

  3. Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in zero is perfection. So inky black it looks like a liquid liner and it will not budge from your face -- I will even admit that on occasion I have successfully slept wearing it and emerged the next morning with my eyeliner completely intact.
